Had the good fortune to purchase a sorted Porsche Cayenne S in February 2021. I was originally looking for a BMW X5 4.6 but decided to go for the Cayenne S which has a 4.5 litre engine and is more capable off-road than the X5. The driving experience of the Cayenne is excellent; it’s similar to the Subaru Foresters I’ve owned but the Cayenne is in a different league in terms of comfort and overall performance. Like the Subaru, it is not efficient by modern standards ( it never was) – I’ve yet to better 17MPG! II’ll need to test it on a long journey so hopefully, come the summer, I hope to get it out and about more regularly.
